"I am a self taught musician since the age of 15. Since those early years I have been around a lot of places and participated in even more activities and events. The music that I have mastered rand from Traditional French/Creole/Zydeco and Cajun to Down-home Blues and R&B. But if you like the sound of Boozo Chevis, Marcele Dougas, Buckwheat or double-pump beat, you name it, I can play it, because my pleasure comes from pleasing the crowd.

I have played from New Orleans to Houston Texas, and from the tip of Northern California to the southern most part of Southern California, leaving no stone unturned. I have recorded with Gold Band Records, Lake Charles, Louisiana.

In 2003 I was named the Peoples Choice and was coined the "Delta King" by Isleton Crawfish Festival, the largest California Festival which brings 170,000 visitors home to the Bayous and Prairies of Southwest Louisiana each year. My latest CD Delta King Live at the Isleton Crawfish Festival, produced July 2003 reflect this crown. Dave Mason, Director of the Isleton Crawfish Festival says "This 12 track CD will take you home to French Louisiana. Guaranteed, no matter what road you travel, there is a King tagged to this sound".

Through the years I have toured with the late, great Clifton Chenier, performed with Big Mama Thornton, Charles Brown, Queen Ida, Hank Ballard, Dough Kershaw an Barbara Mandrel, just to name a few.

I opened and performed at the first San Francisco Blues Festival in 1973 and I am proud to be back 2005. Opened the very first Isleton Crawfish festival in 1985 and have been a repeat performer every year.

During my many years in the music industry, I have received numerous awards from the Cajun Music Association for Dedication and Preservation of Zydeco Music and was privileged when Hohner congratulated me on becoming a Hohner Endorsee."
