John established the Las Vegas' household name we know as "John Earl's BoogieMan Band" in 1989. His voice, unmistakable and powerfull, is what has made John Earl's BoogieMan Band 'THE' Blues band in Las Vegas for the past 20 years.
Over the past 2 decades the band has been comprised of many gifted musicians each possessing a high level of creativity and professionalism which contributed to the 'BoogieMan Band Sound'. John's taste in musicians has been instrumental in the band retaining it's distinct and authentic style! The rotating roster of musicians that have graced the stage with John under the Boogieman Band Banner reads like a whos-who of Las Vegas Blues History and those that played most frequently with the band were notably; Mitch Alliotta, Paul Anthony, Brian Bissel, Junior Brantley, Huck Daniels, Al Ek, Charlie 'Tuna' Dennis, Jason Edwards, Rob Edwards, Tim Fahey, Sid Fisher, John Fredricks, Eddie Joe Gongre', Mike Gravitch, Art Groom, Jim Hall, Dave Holt, 'L.J.' Linwood Johnson, Ralph Jones, Stompin' Bill Johnston, Avian Kee, Kim Kesterson, Jim Lovgren, Mark Medina, Bobby Mercereau, Rocky Peoples, Mike Rector, Scott Rhiner, Elmo Rice, Bob Rosales, Pete Savino, Richard Scalzi, Rick Smith, T-Bird Smolnik, Pete Thoenes, Chris Tofield, and many others that on occasion joined John Earl on stage for a night of Good Rockin' Blues!
